1. Introduction

This policy explains how information is handled on this website. It covers this site only. If you follow a link away from here, the policy of the site you land on applies instead of this one.

2. What we collect

There is no account to create and no newsletter to join. If you complete the quiz, we keep the answers you gave and the email address you entered, together with the Blueprint built from them, so that your Blueprint can be reopened from its own link. That is the only reason we hold them. We do not send you email from the quiz. If you leave before the last step, nothing you answered reaches us at all. The contact form is not connected to anything: what you type into it stays in your browser. If you choose to email us directly, we hold your email address and whatever you write, for as long as it takes to deal with your question.

3. Cookies

Two cookies are set by the site itself, both strictly functional. One is a security token that protects form submissions from being forged by another site. The other remembers your language preference. Neither of those identifies you and neither is used for advertising. Separately, a Google Ads measurement tag runs on the pages of this site so that visits and completed quizzes can be counted against the advertising that paid for them. That tag may set its own cookies in your browser for measurement, and those are advertising cookies rather than functional ones. You can block or clear them in your browser settings, and the site works exactly the same way if you do.

4. Information your browser sends

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider that records standard request information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. That is a normal part of operating a website securely; it is not combined with anything else and is not used to build a profile of you.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. A completed quiz is recorded in the customer-relationship system used to run this site, which is a service acting on our behalf and not a party we sell to. Anything you send us by email is handled by our email provider, also on our behalf. The Google Ads measurement tag described above reports your visit to Google so that advertising can be measured, and in doing so Google may receive ordinary information about the request: the address of the page, the time, your IP address, and your browser and device type. Your name, your email address, and your quiz answers are not sent to Google, and the address of a Blueprint page is shortened before it is reported so that the link to your own Blueprint is not included. Information may be disclosed if the law requires it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to receive a copy of it, or to opt out of marketing. The website itself holds nothing, so a request would find only an email you have sent us, if you have sent one. Write to the address below and it will be answered honestly.

7. Children

This site is written for parents and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please tell us at the address below and it will be deleted.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy will change when the quiz begins collecting, because the site will then hold an email address and quiz answers in order to produce and send a Blueprint. The updated policy will describe that before any information is taken, and the date at the top of this page will change with it.
